How can I increase the speed of my Golf Cart?
I just bought an 11.7hp Yamaha G22 golf cart (2004). It has a top speed of 15mph. Is there a way to increase the top speed?
Depends on how much you want to spend for speed. Most Yamaha’s have optional High ( their term) speed gear sets for the rear end. Normally I think around 500.00 give or take. But remember that speeding your cart up may lower the effective torque rating. ( ability to climb hills) . Another thought would be to check to see that the belt is in good shape and properly tensioned.
