What score wins local golf tournaments and what kind of results do not shoot college players. div. Level 2?
I picked up golf after high school. I've never been on a team or a tournament that is not a charity fight. Shot from mid to high 70 in the local area. I was in camp with the team practices of my college course and that seemed better than me. I felt my ball striking and the placement is equal if not better than yours. I just want to get someone's opinion. I would like to start playing competively
The way college teams are determined is through qualifying rounds. In our university, We had a 36 hole qualifier where the six players and two alternates were chosen. The substitutes played when one team could not compete or may have had a run of poor play. If you want to play competitively, participating in open tournaments in your state, try to qualify for any of the amateur events and gain some notoriety as player. The qualifying session is where you go next.
