Buying golf equipment can be like throwing money into a money pit, but enriched with a little knowledge can save time and money in selecting the right clubs for yourself. As with most things in life, you can spend a lot or you can spend a little several times before that

If you are just starting and not quite sure you want to invest in this addictive game, you should either rent of the clubs in the Golf Course, or buy a starter set of clubs.
The purchase of a starter set of clubs allows you to get used to them, allowing you to focus on your swing instead of wondering how this miss-matched set of Golf Clubs that just hired will work.
As an expert in the game, you should invest in a better set of clubs for you.
Typically, a kit includes a controller, one or two fairway woods, irons 4-9, a wedge or two, and perhaps a putter.
As you gain more experience and start thinking of new golf clubs, you may want to look at buying a separate driver. Some players want a driver to give them more accurately, the need of a few in the distance.
There are a lot of balls and the big picture, have a table in the back and reach the correct ball for your needs. As you learn the game and improve on it, you should experiment with different balls which could improve its accuracy or distance.
