(5) Quervain's tendinitis
Symptoms:
Pain, swelling and pain in the wrist near the base of the thumb. The pain usually occurs on the left wrist at the top of the climb.
Treatments:
Among the possible treatments include rest, medication, immobilization of the thumb spike, therapy, cortisone, surgery.
Do:
Avoid excessive rearmament of the left wrist at the top from the climb.
No:
Released early hands on top of the climb (casting maneuver).
Note: Arthritis at the base of the thumb occur symptoms very similar to the De Quervain's tendinitis. Your doctor can differentiate the two conditions out a careful physical examination and radiographs of the thumb.
(6) knee pain
Knee pain includes:
• Torn meniscus
• knee arthritis (osteoarthritis)
• pain in the kneecap (chondromalacia)
Symptoms:
Pain, clicking, swelling of the knee aggravated by twisting, squatting, and walking.
Treatments:
Among the possible treatments include rest, medication, arthroscopic surgery (meniscus tear), total joint replacement surgery (severe arthritis), injection treatments, braces, therapy.
Do:
• Consider switching to shoes SPIKELESS to reduce tensions in the knees bend.
• Focus on practice and play golf with the short irons while recuperating from a knee injury (or surgery) to minimize stress on the knees.
No:
• Return to full rolling prematurely after a knee injury or surgery, the golf swing (especially when using a Golf Driver or long irons) with adequate pressure on risk of knee reinjury.
(7) Trigger Finger
Symptoms:
Dolorosa and the snap lock finger.
Treatments:
Among the possible treatments include cortisone, surgery.
Do:
• Use the left hand a glove to pad the most susceptible.
• Make sure the club handles replaced, as necessary, or consider that grabs larger / smooth.
• Reduce pressure on the club grip handle.
• Avoid strong grip position by rotating the left hand in the opposite direction.
(8) Detection of minor
Impaction syndrome in the wrist
Symptoms:
Pain and tenderness in the upper part of the wrist, usually on the right side at the top of the climb.
Treatments:
Among the possible treatments include rest, cortisone, or, rarely, surgery.
Do:
Contain soaring to minimize wrist extension right at the top of the climb.
ECU Tendon Subluxation
Symptoms:
Click pain in the wrist, close to the stud bump on the end of the ulna bone.
Treatments:
Among the possible treatments are: Casting, surgery to repair the torn tendon sheath.
Do:
Avoid taking fat shots and stay away from rocks, roots, etc.
Hamate bone fracture
Symptoms:
Pain and tenderness in the left palm, numbness in the ring and little fingers.
Treatments:
Among the possible treatments are: surgery, casting.
Do:
Make sure your clubs are fitted adequately for the end of the club extends beyond the fleshy pad at the side of Pinky — left hand.
No:
Take pictures of fat or swing at balls near the rocks, roots, or other obstructions.
