I need advice fast?
im split between 2 sets of Titleist irons and the AP2 Titleist zm (leaves). off the tee, putting, chipping and im bigger than my game is missing from the street. I hit my part of the green, but often go through periods where i cannot find the Grand Canyon a pitching wedge. Also go through periods where I hit the ball out of the finger. i am a 1 handicap and know how to play, but my ball striking needs some work. I was thinking if I bought blades that would teach me to swing correctly, but if I bought the AP2 I still work on my swing, but should not be punished as much. i play / Practice almost every day in the spring of this year i have a membership at a country club so that they have access to unlimited range balls and golf. I bow to think of AP2. What do you think? Most times when I miss a green im usually short due to hit the ball off the tip or something. Do not miss general than the ball left or right.
One thing you might consider just a thought ….. …… 1 is playing out now …… if you go to the leaves ….. you strong enough himself to be consistently in the sweet spot. That may sound perverse but which can overcome the hump on the + side on your handicap. Most people to get where they never cross. While its only a guess on my part, most of their mishits have been the result of inattention to detail. Even during the trip that mishits admit that their kids are more the result of not doing something the same every swing. In a way that the punishment that is talk that makes or breaks very good players …… Just some food for thought. Good luck with your choice …. fairways and greens
