What does low,mid and high kick, soft tip and torque mean relating to a golf shaft?
I’m looking to build a high launch club with an average swing speed. Aldila NV?
low, mid, and high kick shafts refers to the different points in a shaft where the shaft flexes more or less. lower the kick=higher launch. the soft tip is where the tip of the shaft is more flexible. the low kick point is for slower swing speeds, usually like a senior flex shaft. torque i believe is the shaft resistance to twisting. the Aldila NV is a mid-high kick shaft and produces a lower ball flight
if youre wanting a higher ball flight just go with a regular flex shaft with a mid kick or mid-low kick. the Aldila NVS is a mid low kick shaft and would be a good one
