It is a "Chipper" golf tournament legal?
You can get "choppers" in the local shops, have the appearance of a putter, but are angled so that you can get some loft, which looks like it could be really useful, but never saw anyone using them, so I wondered if it is a "legal" club?
Depends on the model. Most of these low cost grinders has 2 faces, so they can be used by skilled as left-handed golfers. If you have one of these should be counted as 2 clubs. Furthermore, most have a chipper style putter grip, one with a flat edge where it is placed the thumb. This grip is illegal for all but the putter. So, if Chipper is one impact surface and has a round handle, it should be legal for the tournament.
