Hidden from the sight of thousands of visitors to Disney World is a labyrinth of tunnels out of sight Utilidors call. The term is taken from the words, â € œutility runners, â € which is a conduit through which carried utility lines such as sewer, electricity or water. Of course, the concept can be (and is) extended to facilitate the movement of many other things â € "even people.
The Utilidors in the Magic Kingdom was built on nine hectares, occupying 392,040 square feet of space, and is full of action. The plant resembles a wheel with spokes, the center of which lies beneath Cinderella's Castle. From there, the group of tunnels to all other € â € œlands.â
The original idea of a tunnel system were due to fact that Walt Disney was adamant that the integrity of each land € â € œthemeâ be preserved. He did not like the idea of a young man to see someone dressed Frontierland with a costume walk through Tomorrowland, that would spoil the magic. Hence the Utilidors were designed from the outset.

The only other exception of a gas-powered vehicle to be admitted, is an ambulance, and that only in case of extreme emergency.
The next time you visit Disney World and see an unmarked door, remember the Utilidors. There are many hidden entrances around the park.
