what happens if there is no fuse box?
i was able to find out that it is a 1986 36volt golf cart
Thats sounds pretty sweet. IT CAN BE DONE. Once you have speakers and stereo, or just a simple radio, it just a matter of hooking up the power supply(Golf Cart Battery) to the stereo. It also depends on how you want to be able to use the radio. If this is a simple “1980’s throw on your shoulder” radio, then attach to the battery plug that you’ll be able to simply plug in the radio to. If it is a car stereo, then it becomes more complicated, but not too bad. There should be a fuse box somewhere on the cart. Find a hot wire, and hook the power source of the cd player to that wire, that way it will work whenever your want and the cart doesn’t always have to be on to use the cd player. Then just ground the black wire to a piece of metal somewhere on the cart with a bolt, hook up your speakers, invite your friends over, and show off your new golf cart! Have fun and good luck!
