BREMEN, Ohio – Sheriff's Office Fairfield County has begun to stop using police cars in an effort to combat gas prices. Members in Bremen are driving Golf Carts instead of patrol cars. Sgt. ___ He said the county tested the golf carts last year but decided to bring them back to fight prices at the pump. "These are times of change, ___ said." Gas prices go up and departments need to find ways to patrol the areas. "The cars really has caught the attention of residents in the small city, ___ said. "I find it amusing to see a cop driving a golf cart," said ___, who lives in Bremen. With a population of only 1,200 people, ___ Said golf carts are not only more efficient but also foster better relations with the townspeople.
thats stupid, what if somneones home was stolen or someone was shot you want to wait for a golf cart or a patrol car … or a high-speed chase police cannot still still have to call back up and by the time the police come with the car will be gone … so I think thats a stupid idea these things are good for Manhattan as its reall full of people and places like that ….
