Cover Letter for a minimally experienced waitress?
Therefore, I am a junior in college studying political science. I've had office jobs, doing research for government policy, information collected documents and still had huge internal communications Saskatchewan a huge undertaking. But what I really want to do this summer is work as a waitress / girl beer truck on a Golf Course. I know it sounds crazy, but I something that I am not locked in an air-conditioned office all day. I have had very limited experience as a waitress, I was basically a substitute for bar waitress three weeks before Christmas. One of the waitresses had surgery and could not work for time and needed a little extra money before Christmas and an important step. I was good at it, the boss wanted to stay and it was a hopping place. I guess because I have no idea what is sought in this industry, it is important to include in a waitress Cover Letter that put me over the top? Thank you!
Mention how much you enjoyed the bar waitress work, and how well they fit. They also include age chief there as a reference. Not expected to have a long wait to resume the experience, you are a college student. to emphasize that you are a worker, and that pleasing the customer is very rewarding for you. I dare not mention this, because the world should not be so, but you might consider putting your picture on the resume, and looking beautiful (but not trampy). A job as a waitress is something of a PR job, so the appearance does not matter.
