How exactly do I remove the speed limiter of electric Golf Cart?

I received a couple of good answers as to how make an ordinary Electric Golf Cart go faster. A few people have mentioned removing or disabling the limiter / regulator. Where is exactly in a golf cart and specifically how I can disable or remove this?

I think the speed limiter is on a golf cart gas only, I think the only thing you can do is change the gear ratios or tire higher if you do not want to upgrade the engines or batteries.
