Could I and my three golf buddies get rental Golf Carts free like this?
So playing in a golf one day, and obviously to rent two carts. After completing and drive the cars back to the clubhouse, and keep one or the keys. I take it to the home depot and have a copy., then the next time we play, we pay for the game as "Four, 18 holes, no carts" Then go and put the keys in two cars golf and car. Today we did a test, we had the first two cars tried to use each key to start shopping the other worked, which means the keys are universal in this particular course. Lol could do this and save about $ 10 per cart every time we play?
Question, would go into a store and pick something and out the door without paying? This is the same thing. The cars belong to the professional in the course, not the course. Any damage done or typical wear and tear is a tear goes cost money. Fewer people pay fees to purchase but their use will increase the buy rate for golfers to pay. I've heard of a case in my home course, where a type was a key to one of the attendees and held and only get a car when going to play. He got caught and is now prohibited on the course. His choice, that or jail.
