my cat is spayed a week ago?
she got spayed 9 days ago and today I noticed when I picked it just below the point Surgery is a golf ball-sized "package." incision is well, not hot to the touch with no discoloration, no release. Is this normal? or should I seek medical attention? still eating and seems "normal" I suppose.
A package "golf ball" size needs to be checked. Normally, you will see a bump the size of the tip of your little finger, where the sutures are knotted. When my Maybelle was sterilized is herniated and was the size you are describing. And if it is a hernia, incision will I feel like you are describing. Maybelle had a second surgery to correct his hernia, but fortunately the vet does not charge any additional fee. purrs for you and for cats.
