Golf Ball Speed Vs Distance
What type of gold clubs should I use? Regular vs. Flex. Round vs. Square.?

I just started to come into golf, and I am very wrong. I push everything to the right, and I can not hit the ball very far. I have 21, very athletic, but a little out of shape. I have to keep my swing slow speed because the ball actually goes further when I do. Roundheads have been using a regular shaft and make very, very bad. Someone told me that the shaft flex is for older people, but this may help me? Also I learned that the square head is more accurate, but less distance. If it is much more accurate and only slightly less distance I would be willing to make this commitment. Please advise …

flexible shaft must be determined by your clubhead speed and clubhead speed comes from a good mechanic. If you have a rigid shaft regular flex (probably has an "R" in which the shaft near the name), then it should be perfectly fine for you. Remember, many fans use a shaft that is too hard for them because they "feel" like they need a stiffer shaft, although its head speed is not as high. To go to a rigid axle you really should get the ball on a drive 260yds + or less. As previously mentioned square heads provide more forgiveness, but you can work the ball with the same ease. A square-headed driver might help a little. General, however, the team plays a relatively minor role in your score. Practice regularly and draw lessons from a PGA certified professional local help 10 times more than any piece of equipment, and for less money.
