Why are Titleist GranZ Golf Balls so expensive in Japan?
I looked them up and they are like $80 for a dozen. I saw them at GolfSmith and they had them for $17.99 a dozen for logo overruns. They are supposed to be like the NXT so I bought some because they are $10 cheaper than the NXT tour.
Anybody tried them?
I can’t say about the economics of the GranZ in Japan vs the Golfsmith overruns, I’ve wondered about that myself.
The GranZ is COMPLETELY different from the DT Solo. The Solo is a 2 piece ball and the GranZ is a 3 piece ball, very similar to the NXT Tour (as you stated). Just 2 weeks ago (or so) Titleist had a GranZ product page on their US (.com) site, but it has been removed.
