How do expensive Golf Courses clean their driving range balls?
At all of the expensive golf courses, they usually have a driving range. There is one of these courses by my house that has a driving range on real grass, not turf. Anyways, me and my friend go onto a Golf Course and get about 400-600 Golf Balls at a time and need a way to clean them. I was thinking of bringing the balls to the private golf course and ask them how they clean their driving range balls. Is there a machine or something that they use? I was thinking of giving the guy like 10 dollars and he would let me throw my balls into the machine. Thanks for the help!
The course I play at has a large tubmle machine where the balls are dumped in and soaked for x amount of time. Inside the machine there is a “brissle” system that brushes away the dirt.
I’m not sure if you are reffering to getting the grass off the balls, or restoring the color, but when I wash my golf balls, I usually let them soak in a bucket of bleach for a while.
